| Originally from the Shenandoah
Valley of Virginia, my wonderful wife Ana and I currently reside in Toronto,
Ontario. In my youth, I worked my way through community college
(yes, I am proud of that fact) as a sawyer, mechanic, waiter,
UPS employee and, for a short time, as a Christmas tree salesman.
Later, I attended Bridgewater College (kinesiology/education),
spent three years as a special education teacher and earned
a Masters of Education at the University of Virginia (Instructional
Technology).
I am currently working for the University of Toronto Scarborough as the Academic Communication and Technology Specialist.
In my free time, I practice kendo, ninpo and
yoga. I also enjoy writing, photography, travel, reading scifi
and fantasy literature, and dinking with entirely too many forms
of technology (though I could always fit in a few more...).
